FAQs

How often do you come to clear my driveway?

Our standard service schedule begins operations between 4-5am or after 4” or more of snow has accumulated on surfaces. On heavier snow fall days, we can make a second pass at your request to clear between 3-5pm. We continually monitor road conditions to ensure our operations follow county right-of-way clearings.

How will we know when you will be out operating and how do we reach you in case of emergency?

Customers may choose to opt into an automated text message notification for start of service. Texting a response to us will be the fastest way you can reach us and is monitored every 15 minutes during service. You may also call us and leave a voicemail with further info but this may not reach our operator unless he has finished and has parked the machine.

What equipment do you use and will it damage my driveway/deck?

Our residential driveway fleet consists of professional level Erskine blowers paired with powerful high-flow hydraulic skid steers. By running hydraulic driven blowers, we have been able to have almost zero down-time due to maintenance and allows operators to safely clear ice without sheer pin failures. We have 7, 9, and 13 horsepower Honda snow blowers with polycarbonate skid shoes to minimize damage to deck/paver surfaces. We ONLY use poly (Tuffy) shovels for any hand crew work.

We are only going to be in town for one week but want daily service, could we just arrange service for when we are there.

Yes, we offer on-call service. Our seasonal contracts always have first priority when it comes to storm-day clearings but our team always has room for extra work for customers in need. Be sure to sign on for our residential driveway service and we are always happy to add-on additional services for current driveway customers during their time of stay.

Are you insured?

Yes, our insurance and bond is specific to snow and ice removal for residential and commercial properties. We are permitted and have specific liability coverage to perform snow and ice removal on driveway surfaces, walking surfaces, and roof surfaces up to 30’ off of the ground. All of our operators are highly trained and we are proud to have maintained an accident-free record since starting in 2020.
